I think there might be a tech issue with Emily’s auction; when I click on the starting price for all of the others, it brings up a proper bid window with the current amount; when I do so for Emily’s, I get error messages the first three or four times, before finally getting a page showing the $29 starting price. That might explain why it seems to be bidless in spite of its awesomeness.

Nah, bid away, then encourage people to bid against you. Or use a fake name. As long as the email address is real (and I’m the only one who sees that).

I’ve been holding back on bidding for fear that people won’t bid against me, plus lack of money, but if Emily’s yarn doesn’t get bid up? I am totally grabbing it. Beautiful yarn, and I LOVE the concept.

Ok this made me tear up a little, because the whole time I was spinning I was like, “OK, this is gorgeous, but I have no idea if it makes any *sense* outside my head.” So reading that paragraph you wrote about the paper falling away, and seeing that ZOMG people are getting it! I made sense! Is like. . .I don’t even know. You know.
